Il compito di rimettere in servizio la Jeep ferma da una decina di anni è affidato a Guido Pellicciotta, che segue da tempo la Willys di Vittorio Argento e l’ha preparata per il nostro viaggio del 2013. Insomma, siamo in mani sicure. Alberto Rosso mi ha detto che la macchina ha bisogno di rifare i freni e controllare lo sterzo. In più una controllata generale, sostituzione batteria e altre cosette di ordinaria amministrazione. Peccato che piova tanto!
The work to recommission the Jeep after a decade was entrusted to Guido Pellicciotta, who has looked after the Willys owned by Vittorio Argento and tuned it for our 2013 Homecoming tour. Which means we are in good hands. Alberto Rosso has always said that the Jeep needs new brakes and some work on the steering. I added an overall checkup, new battery and other ordinary things. Too bad for the very wet winter!
